omgosh, so so excited for you!! Totally, totally makes me want to make a scrapbook!! I make a calendar for each set of grandparents every year at Christmas time & I always want the perfect, perfect photos (which don't exist). I love how you had pictures of your everyday mixed with the events of the year (beach, LEGOLAND - love that place, every day people & things). and the fact that you used a couple photos that weren't from your DSLR, but you wanted to remember. Good for you, getting it done!! :D :D
Thanks Lottie! I used to scrapbook ye-olde-fashioned way when I was younger. Now that everything's digital I printed albums (it's actually way easier), and I love looking through them all, especially now with my kids. Best thing I ever learned about scrapbooking is to give up on the idea of perfection and cuteness and ideals... a thrown together book with all the memories you want is better than no book at all because you're still trying to find the perfect layout/photos/paper/whatever. :)
